Carmina Burana
Was
presented by the University of Nebraska at Kearney--Department of Dance
on
March 7 and 8, 2003. The production also featured the University Chorus
and University
Wind Ensemble.
This was the third production of Carmina Burana since the establishment
of the Dance Program
at UNK. The first production was in 1988 and the second was in 1993. The
2003 production
of Carmina Burana was a historical event for the Department of Performing
Arts and was a
tremendous success. Standing ovations were received both nights with standing
room only houses.
